This dissertation from loremaster Volothamp Geddarm sheds new light onto iconic D&D monsters, above and beyond what’s included in the Monster Manual. Dive deep into the story behind D&D’s most well-known and feared monsters, including beholders, mind flayers, and the yuan-ti, as well as classic races like orcs, gnolls, and kobolds.
The Roll20 version of Volo’s Guide to Monsters will unlock new entries in the D&D 5th Edition Compendium with this premium content. You will also be able to use the Compendium tab on the Roll20 tabletop to find entries on these deadly monsters and drag & drop them into your pre-existing adventures!
Monsters will be integrated into your games complete with with fully statted tokens and Journal entries, creating a seamless way to spruce up your dungeon delve or castle creep. There are over 130 statted tokens you can use to terrify your players!
