The Roll20 family has grown!

November 7, 2014

Our adventuring party has increased by two! After an overwhelming response to our recent job posting, Roll20 and The Orr Group are excited to welcome Steve Koontz and Stephanie Powell to our team!

Steve Koontz, our new developer, comes to us from Southern California with a degree in writing from UCSD. Steve has a passion for technology, is an avid tabletop gamer and a loving father and husband. His professional background ranges from Hollywood screenwriter to Fortune 500 executive. Additionally, Steve is incredibly knowledgeable about Roll20 – as one of our first 6,000 users, he’s logged over 800 hours in the interface!

Stephanie Powell joins our team as our new Community Manager. Though currently living in Southern California as well, Stephanie is an Oregon girl at heart, having studied Communications and Rhetoric at Oregon State University. Stephanie is an experienced social media marketing manager, coming to us from the nation’s largest sales and marketing firm. She is also the Co-Founder and Online Director of misscliks.com, a community organization dedicated to uplifting and promoting female role models in geek and gaming culture through live streaming role playing gaming on Twitch.

Since our launch via Kickstarter in 2012, our community has grown and supported us in a way that has enabled to make expansions to our tabletop gaming service, but this is by far the biggest and most exciting development. We hope you’re as excited as we are, and that you’ll join us in welcoming Steve and Stephanie to the Roll20 family!
