This morning on Twitch, Roll20′s GM-in-Residence Adam Koebel announced that we’re bringing D&D Adventurers League content to the Roll20 Twitch stream!

Adventurers League is the ongoing official organized play campaign for Dungeons & Dragons, using 5E and set in the Forgotten Realms. For more information about Adventurers League, check out their site.

Our Twitch content will feature the maps and actual adventures available for download on the Adventurers League site – allowing you to recreate these stories with your own group! Adam Koebel will also provide GM Workshop tutorials on Roll20′s Twitch channel. You can learn how to use features such as Dynamic Lighting and the SRD Compendium to create your own Adventurers League campaigns on Roll20.

Until this point, Adventurers League has been primarily geared towards in-person gaming sessions. It’s our shared hope that by embracing Roll20 and playing online, more people can experience these awesome storylines and get gaming!

This Roll20 Presents Twitch series will play through an entire season of Adventurers League content, which includes about 60 hours worth of story. The new series will begin on July 7 and will use the Tyranny of Dragons storyline. Tune in next week (Thursday at 11am Pacific on twitch.tv/roll20app) for the first episode!
