This position will work with the development team and product owners. This position will be integral to ensuring user interface elements are designed and implemented and functional on the Roll20 website, virtual tabletop, and mobile applications. This will include reworking existing interfaces, being a champion for accessibility, improving internationalization, and designing new interfaces to improve the user experience.
Skills we are looking for:
A visual design perspective that is tech-forward, professional, and engaging
Practice in User Interface and User Experience design for a wide range of devices
Use of UX software such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Balsamiq, or the like
Experience with Javascript (the Good Parts), HTML5, and CSS
Ability to clearly communicate research and design ideas with development team and company management
Self-initiating work style & flexible viewpoint
We will also look at:
Experience with Ruby (Sinatra, not Rails), Firebase, PostgreSQL, MediaWiki, WebGL, Canvas, NodejS, and/or React Native.
A strong portfolio of existing work on Github or another portfolio site
A firm grasp of Adobe Creative Suite - particularly Photoshop, GIMP, or a similar visual design software package
Development activities on iOS and/or Android mobile applications
Having worked on teams using Agile Scrum
