Roll20 is seeking additional staff in the following positions:
Brand Manager
Roll20 is striving to better assist outside brands and potential users in understanding the benefits of online tabletop gameplay by engaging a Brand Manager as a full-time employee. We welcome over 2,500 new tabletop gamers across a wide spectrum of interest to our program per day and are in constant communication with game creators trying to connect to those potential players.
The ideal candidate for this position will have extraordinary written and verbal communication skills, as well as a strong background in visual design and marketing. They will be able to convey to licensing partners of any size the capabilities of Roll20 as a platform, while also continuing to expand the openness of the platform to gamers who see Roll20 as a place where they are best able to represent themselves.
A Brand Manager will be purposed towards regular interaction with publishing, merchandising, and content-producing partners with a need for regular email, phone, and video meetings requiring impeccable scheduling and follow-through. You will be expected to be a well-rounded public point of contact for Roll20 to the outside world, and help focus and clarify the best parts of tabletop gaming online to both established gamers and first-time adventurers.

Position qualifications include:

3 years experience in a public relations or licensing environment for a publicly-scrutinized, consumer-facing brand.

2 years of responsibility related to social media and email marketing.

Experience collaborating with outside media agencies.

Experience implementing and analyzing consumer metrics.

A social media presence in line with our company values.

The ability to collaborate, self-motivate, and work on tight timelines are musts.

Familiarity with the Roll20 interface and overall brand.
In addition to the requirements above, we will prioritize candidates who:

Are proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.

Are experienced in broadcasting and editing audio/video content.

Have familiarity with a multitude of tabletop gaming rulesets.

Canvas / WebGL Developer
Roll20 is seeking to refine and create new in-app features by engaging a WebGL & Canvas Developer Specialist. We work mainly in the browser and mobile (iOS/Android) space, with a heavy focus on Javascript and HTML5. We use bleeding-edge web technology as an integral part of our service, including Canvas, WebGL, and WebRTC.
The Developer Specialist will work with our development team to expand Roll20 by polishing our existing features and by creating new ways for our players to participate in amazing gaming experiences. They will also communicate directly with our players on a daily basis to assist them with technical issues and gather their feedback to improve the service. Bonus points for avid tabletop gamers and previous experience in the tabletop gaming industry.

Roll20 is seeking additional organization and management for our coding team. Despite the title, we aren’t looking for a mythical coding unicorn; instead we’re looking for the right approach during this period of our expansion, and are considering several options.
